REMINDER! Entries for the next OCBC tournament will be due August 3rd, 2009 at 11:59 PST.

To enter OCBC, you will be required to submit a character reference sheet and a brief introduction for your character. You are allowed to use old ref sheets but you must create a new introduction for the competition.

Judge applications are now being accepted. If you'd like to judge for OCBC, submit a note to OCBC and fill in this form:

1. Why do you want to judge for OCBC?

2. Do you have any previous comic/flash/splash battle judging experience?

3. What do you look for when critiquing work?

4. Include some thumbs or links to what you feel is your best comic/flash/splash page work.

Judge applications are due July 31st. You have one week.

NEW CONTEST ANNOUNCED.

OCBC needs a new Deviant I.D.! Create an I.D. for the page that reflects what OCBC is about - original character battles! Short flash loops and still images will be accepted. You may use any characters from previous contests (respectfully of course) or some of your own. Please do not use only your own characters; OCBC is about diversity and and bringing multiple ideas together.

Rules:
*Keep the art tasteful for a main page display - no nudity
*Please use the OCBC logo somewhere in the image; the logo is available in the OCBC gallery
*Keep the images small enough to fit in the I.D. slot - 441 x 670 pixels maximum.
*Entries are due August 8th, 11:59 pm 2009

The winning entry will be featured on the page and the artist will receive:

A sketch from *Skyserpent

All contest entries will be featured in a journal on this page. If you have any questions, feel free to note OCBC or *AshleyLange.

So, it seems the group finally realized its the story that matters and not dominance of a character. Took em long enough.
